Support in my Home Community
What resources does your office have to support me serving my home community?
Two Serve in Place workshops are coming up this semester. Join us to learn how to find in-person and remote service opportunities in your hometown and beyond (including ones led by Cornell alumni), prepare for ethical action and critically reflect on your experience and purpose.
Is the funding to support community-engaged learning projects during pandemic?
Yes! The winter break Serve in Place Fund is open. We’re accepting applications through January 4, 2021.
Engaged Leadership Programs
Can I pause my/my group’s participation in the leadership programs?
Of course. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. We’ll be happy to help you start again when you are ready.
I am new to community-engaged learning but I want to help my students connect and be useful to community partners in a difficult time. How do I start?
COVID-19 has impacted my ability to proceed with my approved community-engaged learning plans. How can I adapt?
You can request a no-cost extension if you want to push pause on your funded activities and resume them later.
