University of Texas Health Austin – Contact Tracer
This student engaged with the issue of contact tracing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Working within a remote-based contact tracing team, the student contacted patients who tested positive for COVID-19 in the Austin, Texas, community, and contacted the individuals who may have been exposed to the virus in order to allow those individuals to responsibly quarantine. This project largely focused on keeping the public safe in the midst of this pandemic by informing individuals of their contact with the virus.
