The Black Male Mosaic: Unpacking Divergent Experiences in Global Education
Supporting students as they attend the International Colloquium on Black Males in Education and present what they learn to peers on campus.
At the International Colloquium on Black Males in Education (ICBME), attendees exchange ideas and perspectives concerning the global dynamics of black males from pre-K through college. The event brings together world-class scholars, high-impact practitioners, policy makers, funders, students and concerned citizens. Through this project, two Cornell student leaders and two chaperones attend the sixth annual colloquium in Toronto, Canada. When they return to campus, the students will create a presentation on key information they learned at ICBME, sharing with peers through the Office of Academic Diversity Initiatives, Donlon Hall and Ujamaa Residential College.
