Serve in Place Fund

Summer 2020 SOSA Fellowship

The student dealt with the issue of expanding educational resources and opportunities for underserved youth. Working under the Fellowship of Scholars in Our Society and Africa (SOSA), this student helped provide high school junior and seniors with resources to create a holistic college application. Additionally, this recipient supported the community by pairing students with mentors who could provide advice on navigating college life. The student has used this project to expand this service globally, connecting with partners on a larger scale.
