Summer 2020 Research Series: Black Work Matters
Working with the Undergraduate Labor Institute, the student addressed the ongoing issue of anti-Black racism through research and publication of a journal. The student engaged in analysis of the issue, first examining institutional and systemic causes, then communicating about the effects such as exploitation of labor and limited socioeconomic growth. The student put together a collaborative research piece on the issue, which they published virtually.
