Regional Initiative for Sustained Improvements in Nutrition and Growth (RISING) Project
This student served under the UNICEF Regional Initiative for Sustained Improvements in Nutrition and Growth (RISING) Project in order to address the issue of infant and young child nutrition in Kenya. The student aimed to contribute to the goal of increasing evidence-based nutrition interventions by understanding current practices related to child feeding, food preparation and procurement for infants and young children, as well as understanding the various factors that influence feeding practices. The student ultimately aimed to individually develop and support culturally-relevant interventions aimed at improving children’s development through creating a study and conducting interviews on the issue.
