Participating in a healthcare internship program in Oaxaca, Mexico
For two weeks over winter break, the grant recipient worked with a community clinic that provides medical care and education to residents in Oaxaca, Mexico. The goal of the project was to address the issue of affordable, equitable access to quality healthcare regardless of geographic location, demographics and socioeconomic status.
