Local Food and Farm Justice in Tompkins County
In their project, this student addressed the issue of food insecurity in BIPOC communities, particularly as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic. The student served alongside the Groundswell Center for Local Food and Farming to create a publicity campaign for the organization’s work. They took part in creating workshops, interviewing marginalized farmers and food justice activists, as well as coordinating a blog for the organization.
