Latino Leadership Summit
A daylong event for networking and building connections among the Latinx community
The Latino Leadership Summit (March 2019) is an opportunity for Latinx leaders, professionals and students and their allies to gather and empower one another to overcome the challenges they face in academia, industry and beyond. Organized by students in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, the summit aims elevate the work Latinx organizations are doing in the community and imagine what these groups can do through collaborative planning and increased community awareness. In addition to networking opportunities, the summit will offer workshops on issues that affect diversity and inclusion in the workforce, pathways to advanced degrees, Latinx leaders in STEM and the impact of STEM success with the local community.
