Analyzing Kenya's food system to facilitate sustainable and healthy lifestyles
As an intern for the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), the grant recipient analyzed the food system in Kenya to identify entry points for interventions and policy changes to facilitate sustainable and healthy lifestyles. The ultimate goal of the program is to increase food security for Kenyan nationals. The food system was analyzed through a combination of literature reviews, data collection and creation of sustainable food systems profiles while collaborating with mentors from CIAT.
