Institute of Human Services: Health Services Non-Clinical Support
Maximizing time that homeless patients spend with providers in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Working with the Institute of Human Services in Honolulu, the grant recipient volunteered at a clinic that works with the homeless population. Most days this clinic only has two providers present, leading to long waiting times and few people being served. The recipient helped to maximize the time that patients spend with providers by helping with clerical work.
