Community-Engaged Student Travel Grants

Ghana Winter Service Trip

Providing health screenings and raising awareness about hypertension and diabetes prevention

In this project, students traveled to Ghana and assisted the OKB Hope Foundation with health screenings to identify people at risk for hypertension and diabetes. Additionally, the students work toward raising awareness of these diseases to community members.
