Community-Engaged Student Travel Grants

FARVets International

Promoting animal welfare awareness in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The grant recipient worked alongside local veterinarians and animal shelter staff to promote animal welfare awareness and provide free vaccinations at a clinic in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Community partner Shanty Town Spirit Cambodia also hosted community discussions and clinics about the impact of stray animal overpopulation and zoonotic diseases that can harm humans and animals.
