Entry-ReEntry
Creating a theatre piece rooted in the lived experiences of students and ReEntry Theatre members
People returning to the community after incarceration face many obstacles. Civic Ensemble’s ReEntry Theatre Program uses theatre as a medium through which to inform the public of the challenges of re-entry and to assist the performers in their adaptation back into the community. In this grant project, Cornell students and the ReEntry Theatre Program are creating an ensemble theatre piece that will be performed at Cornell’s Schwartz Center and at the Cherry Art Space in Ithaca.
