Ecology and Conservation of Wildlife in the Neotropics

Monitoring the decline of bird species in Patagonia, Argentina

In BIOEE2525/2526/2527: Ecology and Conservation of Wildlife in the Neotropics, students have the opportunity to develop their own research project. This grant recipient is conducting animal-behavior research in Patagonia, Argentina. The project is focused on revealing differences in populations of bird species in Patagonia over time, showing how the environment is changing and educating local communities on the decline of major species.
