Developing a prototype Seagrass Research Engagement Module for K-12 classrooms
In this experience, the student created the Seagrass Research Engagement Module (REM), a system for high school and undergraduate students to engage and contribute to ongoing research on ecosystems and climate change. The students in the program were given a platform within their classrooms to be actively involved in research. The recipient created a space for individuals to explore the topic of climate and ecosystem research while also continuing to develop an interface to further enhance the methods and depth to the research.
