Engaged Research Grants

COVID-19 Interactive Map

A website offering insight into the rate of coronavirus infections across New York state

The ongoing spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is a major health crisis, especially in New York state, the epicenter of the American coronavirus outbreak. In this community-engaged learning project, a Cornell team developed a website to offer insight into the rate of coronavirus infections across New York, charting daily and cumulative totals of new cases to help users see whether they’re flattening the curve. A team of students helped compile data and build a nimble and accessible site.
