Conducting research on the effect of circus arts as a form of therapy for a range of physical and mental disabilities
The student grantee conducts research on the effect of circus arts as a form of therapy for a range of physical and mental disabilities. She trains at the Circus Arts Therapy workshop in Atlanta before returning to Ithaca and teaching this therapy form at the Franziska Racker Centers. This is an opportunity to raise awareness of an innovative method to address disabilities and bring it back to the local community.
