Building Peace in Hiroshima
As an A-bombed city, Hiroshima is a constant reminder of the ravages of nuclear war, and many of the city’s residents seek nuclear weapons abolition and world peace. Asia Network of Trust-Hiroshima (ANT-Hiroshima) provides community members the opportunity to actively engage in peace-building efforts. The grant recipient collaborated with ANT-Hiroshima on a variety of projects, including contributing English-language content to their blog, translating English-language correspondence into Japanese and assisting in the preparation of a children’s book about Hiroshima’s history for translation and international distribution.
