Engaged Opportunity Grants
Alternative Breaks Network for Change
Connecting service-minded students and alumni in New York City
Network for Change is a signature Alternative Breaks event for students participating in New York City–based service-learning trips during spring break. Students have the opportunity to engage with a panel of alumni who have integrated public service and volunteerism into their professional and civic lives. Students hear from alumni whose leadership experiences in the Public Service Center positively influenced their professional and personal trajectories. Students have the opportunity to ask questions, network, receive mentorship and learn to translate the skills they develop through Alternative Breaks into their future careers and civic lives in service.
