Certificate in Community-Engaged Leadership
Imani Majied ’19
Major: Industrial and Labor Relations
Minor: Business
I’m passionate about … social entrepreneurship.
Engagement experience: I am currently leading my social enterprise called Everybody Eats. We are dedicated to bridging meal gaps in major cities, starting with Ithaca! I have also developed a college and career prep program at a small school in the Bronx, NY, and taught English in Spain.
As an Engaged Ambassador, I … help to cultivate and create leadership experiences for members of the Cornell community.
I got involved because … community development is extremely important to me, and I was eager to work with other like-minded individuals to expand community development efforts at Cornell.
My friends would say I’m … silly and friendly!
Best Cornell memory (so far!): Freshman year homecoming
Fun fact: I love acroyoga.
Future plans: TBD!
